how does one even open a listicle? i guess i'll just get to the point. this is a list of my top five animal crossing villagers, ranked in ascending order from.. good to best, i suppose.
5 ~ Flurry
taking the lowest spot is Flurry. i had her in my very first New Leaf town, Sakura, and i just thought she was really cute. and i still think that, because it's true. : )
4 ~ Blaire
Blaire is sort of the odd one out in this list, being a villager i came to like because i had beef with her. like Flurry, she was in my first New Leaf town, but she was just, like.. really mean to me. well, as mean as a New Leaf villager can be. i recall her fighting with Flurry a couple times, too, which couldn't have helped. but in retrospect, this adversarial relationship has endeared me to her! it was fun to have a heel to root against! she holds a special place in my heart for this reason.
3 ~ Zucker
we're getting into villagers i have more intense history with now. when i was ten, Zucker was my white whale - er, uh.. cream-coloured octopus? my username on the bell tree was based on him, even. i was totally obsessed with him, but i didn't have him in my town, and my attempts to acquire him were always thwarted somehow! i think i did get him eventually, though, after probably two years of trying, and later i ended up with him on my New Horizons island as well, where he still lives to this day.
2 ~ Katt
Katt was the start of my love affair with Uchi villagers. i believe i first encountered her in 2017 or 2018, in my New Leaf town at the time, Meowland. i initially thought she was kinda ugly, but.. her personality was just so cool! the more i talked to her, the more i seemed to like her. i even warmed up a lot to her appearance. i think she's very cute, and i try to get her in every town i run these days.
1 ~ Teddy
taking the top spot, Teddy. oh boy, where do i even start. i was and am absolutely in love with this guy. i think he's another one i first met in Meowland, and.. i don't know what it was about him! i don't even normally like Jock villagers, but he just seemed *different* than other ones somehow! more sensitive! i believe he nicknamed me buddy, and every time he called me that, it made me blush so bad. genuine sexual awakening for me, both on the "i like boys" level, and the "i'm a furry" level. and obviously, his appearance is completely adorable. just a platonically ideal Animal Crossing villager. perfect, no notes. wish he was real so i could [REDACTED TO RETAIN WEBMASTER'S PRIVACY].
so yeah those are my top five! as it turns out, closing a listicle is also difficult. i hope you enjoyed reading it, though!
